Our Story
HomeSorted was founded in Ireland with a simple belief: finding a reliable tradesperson should not be this hard. We have all been there — asking friends for recommendations, scrolling through outdated directories, waiting days for a callback that never comes.
We built HomeSorted to solve this problem for good. Our answer is a WhatsApp-first marketplace that connects homeowners with verified local trades in minutes, not days. No apps to download, no forms to fill out, no account to create. Just message Emma, describe your job, and she takes it from there.
For trades, we built Casey — a business partner on WhatsApp who sends real jobs, helps with quoting, and keeps the admin to a minimum. Because tradespeople should be doing great work, not chasing leads.

Robbie McDermott
Co-founder, CEO
Robbie owns the product side — design, build, every pixel and every line of copy across the marketplace, plus the backend specification our engineering partner builds to. He spent 20 years on the tools as a painter and decorator, a decade running his own trade business, then taught himself to code. HomeSorted is the synthesis — the marketplace he wished existed when he was the one trying to find a decent trade.
Aaron Buckley
Co-founder, Operations
Aaron runs operations — the operational playbook, partner onboarding, and the founding-100 trade programme. He's CEO of Image Fitness Training, Ireland's largest fitness education provider, where he runs a seven-location national operation. He brings the operator depth — pricing, retention, and multi-location systems — that turns a launched product into a running business.
Simon Creedon
Co-founder, Finance
Simon runs the business — finance, investments, grants, and legal, the corporate and statutory backbone of the company. He co-founded Image Fitness Training and spent 15 years building it from a single location into Ireland's largest fitness education provider, across seven locations. If Robbie's job is to build the product right, Simon's is to build the company right — he's the reason the numbers add up.
Conor Whyte
Co-founder, Marketing & Brand
Conor owns marketing and the brand — voice, visual identity, and growth — and he led HomeSorted's LEO grant application through to approval. He co-founded Image Fitness Training and led marketing and brand across its seven-location national operation, with 15 years of brand-building behind him. The HomeSorted voice you read on this site, the green that runs through everything, the warm-but-direct tone of Emma and Casey — that's Conor's craft.
