Proof

The HomeSorted proof ledger.

Every figure on this page comes from a real, re-runnable measurement with a named source and sign-off, or it isn't shown. Here's exactly what we publish, how we compute it, and — while there's nothing real yet — what has to be true first.

Nothing published yet — and we'd rather tell you that than fake it.

HomeSorted is pre-launch: there are no verified trades, no completed jobs and no audited source for any of the five figures below. Nothing moves here until that changes.

What we will publish, and how

Trades verified

The count of trades who have completed HomeSorted's identity and insurance checks (see /trust) and hold at least one current evidence check today — a live count from the verification system of record, not a running total that includes trades who later lapsed or left.

Jobs completed

The count of jobs both the homeowner and the trade have marked complete through HomeSorted, over a stated rolling period — never a count of jobs merely booked or quoted.

Response time range

The range (not a single average) between the fastest and slowest first-response time from a trade to a new homeowner enquiry, measured over a stated rolling period, excluding enquiries sent outside advertised hours.

Documents stored

The count of distinct homeowner-owned documents (warranties, certificates, invoices) currently stored in HomeInsight — a live count from the records system, not a cumulative count that includes documents since deleted by their owner.

Disputes resolved

The count of formal disputes raised through HomeSorted that reached a recorded resolution (see /terms for the mediation process), over a stated rolling period, alongside the count still open in the same period — never resolved-only, which would hide an unresolved backlog.

Every published figure carries its value, the period it covers, the sample size it was computed from, its source and methodology, and the date it was last confirmed current — and stops appearing the moment it goes stale, rather than being left to sit, unchanged, past its own measurement window. See how we verify trades for the identity and insurance checks these figures build on.

Real homeowner journeys

Consent required before publication

Explicit, written, specific consent from the homeowner (and, where the journey names a trade, the trade) to publish an anonymised account of their job — given after the job, never bundled into sign-up terms, and revocable at any time before or after publication.

What gets stripped or generalised

  • Full name and any other identifying name (business name, nickname)
  • Exact address — generalised to area at most (e.g. "Dublin 15")
  • Exact dates — generalised to month/season
  • Any photo that shows a face, a number plate, or house-identifying detail
  • Any detail (an unusual job combination, a specific price) narrow enough to identify the household to someone who knows them
