1. The promotion
The "HomeSorted World Cup Draw" (the "Competition") is a free prize draw for tradespeople, run by the Promoter to mark the 2026 World Cup and the upcoming launch of HomeSorted. Entry is free and no purchase is necessary.
2. Competition period
The Competition opens on 5 June 2026 and entries close one hour before the kick-off of the World Cup Final on 19 July 2026 (kick-off time as per the official match schedule). Entries received after that time will not be valid. Draws are held after the relevant match results are officially confirmed (see clause 6).
3. Eligibility
The Competition is open to individuals who, at the time of entry:
- are aged 18 or over; and
- are resident in the Republic of Ireland; and
- work in or operate a trade/home-services business.
The following may not enter: employees, officers and agents of the Promoter and of Square Root (our development partner), and their immediate families or households, and anyone professionally connected with the administration of the Competition. The Promoter may verify a winner's age, residency and trade status, and may disqualify entries that are incomplete, fraudulent, automated, or breach these terms.
4. How to enter
Enter at www.homesorted.ie/trades-world-cup-comp by completing the form with your first name and surname, email address, WhatsApp number and your trade, and by accepting these terms. Entry is free and no purchase is necessary.
Each game week during the tournament (Thursday to Thursday), the Promoter selects a "prize match" and emails each entrant a personal link to pick the winner of that match (for some matches a draw may also be an option). Picking the correct outcome enters you into that game week's prize draw. Picks may be changed until that match kicks off, after which they lock. The final game week's prize match is the World Cup Final, where picking the winner enters you into the €1,000 draw and picking the other finalist enters you into the €500 draw (see clause 6). Making picks is free and optional.
- One entry per person. Duplicate entries (matched by email address or WhatsApp number) will be removed; only the first valid entry counts.
- Entries must be made personally via the entry form. Bulk, automated or third-party entries are void.
- The Promoter is not responsible for entries that are lost, delayed, corrupted or not received due to technical faults, internet/device issues or any cause outside its reasonable control.
5. The prizes
- 1 × €1,000(the "Winner Prize").
- 1 × €500(the "Runner-up Prize").
- A weekly prize for each game week's prize match(one prize per game week — e.g. vouchers and merchandise). The specific prize for each game week is shown when that week's prize match is announced.
Cash prizes are paid by bank transfer. For non-cash spot prizes there is no cash alternative. Prizes are non-transferable. The Promoter may substitute any prize with one of equal or greater value if circumstances require. Winners are responsible for any personal tax arising from a prize.
6. How winners are determined
Weekly prize-match draws. For each game week, all entrants who picked the correct outcome of that week's prize match are entered into a random draw for that week's prize; one entrant is drawn. If a prize match is abandoned, void, or has no correct entrants, the Promoter may instead draw that week's prize at random from all entrants who made a pick for that match.
€1,000 and €500 draws — after the Final is played on 19 July 2026:
- €1,000 draw: all entrants whose Final pick is the team that actually wins the Final are entered into a random draw; one is drawn to receive €1,000.
- €500 draw: all entrants whose Final pick is the team that loses the Final are entered into a random draw; one is drawn to receive €500.
- Entrants who do not make a Final pick remain in the weekly draws but are not entered into the €1,000 or €500 draws.
- If a prize has no qualifying entrants, that prize will instead be drawn at random from all valid entrants, so it is still awarded.
- One main prize per person: the €1,000 is drawn first; that winner is then excluded from the €500 draw.
- Draws are conducted under the Promoter's supervision using a random selection method. The Promoter's decisions on all matters relating to the Competition are final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
7. Winner notification and claiming
Winners will be notified within 7 days of the draw, by email and/or by the WhatsApp number or phone provided. To claim, a winner must respond and confirm their details (and, if asked, verify age, residency and trade status) within 14 days of being notified. If a winner cannot be contacted, does not respond within that period, or is found ineligible, the Promoter may forfeit the prize and draw an alternative winner. Cash prizes are paid by bank transfer within 30 days of the winner's details being verified.
8. Publicity
By entering, winners agree that the Promoter may publish their first name, county and trade(for example on homesorted.ie and the Promoter's social channels) to announce results and for reasonable transparency. The Promoter will not publish a winner's full contact details. A winner may ask not to be named, and the Promoter will comply where it is lawfully able to.
9. Data protection
Personal data you provide is processed in line with the HomeSorted Privacy Policy and the Competition Privacy Notice below. In short: we use your details to run the Competition and contact winners, and — where you have consented — to send you Competition updates by email and, when HomeSorted launches, to contact you on WhatsApp. The lawful basis for Competition administration and marketing to entrants is your consent, which you may withdraw at any time (see the Competition Privacy Notice).
10. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot be excluded under Irish law. Subject to that, the Promoter is not liable for any loss or damage arising from entry to the Competition or acceptance/use of a prize. The Promoter may amend these terms, or suspend or cancel the Competition, where necessary for reasons outside its reasonable control or where the integrity or proper conduct of the Competition is compromised; any change will be posted on the Competition page.
11. Independence / no endorsement
This Competition is notsponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with FIFA or the organisers of the 2026 World Cup, with any participating team or association, or with Meta Platforms / WhatsApp. All trademarks are the property of their respective owners; references to the "World Cup" are for the purpose of describing this independent prize draw only.
12. Governing law

By entering, you confirm you have read and accept these terms.
